Chemistry and Physics and the College of Computing Sciences and Engineering moved into building 50 "Science and Engineering" in February 2004. UNF's new facility provides state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities for Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering, Building Construction Management, Physics, and Chemistry. The facilities include two state-of-the-art lecture halls, a timber-woodland lab, a construction and structural materials lab, a new state-of-the-art analytical chemistry laboratory, and research laboratories for Chemistry and Physics faculty. Construction on the new facility began in November of 2001 and the building was accepted by the University in December of 2003.

The chemistry offices and labs are situtated on the second and third floor of building 50 in the UNF campus, with classrooms (including a 125 seat auditorium with a fume hood) on the first floor. Click on the graphics below to see floor plans of each floor.
